Oh Dear!

I am seriously concerned about a person who cannot make their own peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

You know... I could really go for a PB & J, but I just couldn't be bothered to open 2 jars! And then I'd be dirtying WHO KNOWS how many knives!! Really my life would be gloriously eased if they just friggin' put the PB & the J together in one jar! But why stop there? Toss in some croutons and we're down to 1 spoon and 1 jar to do lunch. Change that jar to a "Squeeze" bottle and we're golden! Lunch and NO CLEANUP! Can life get much better than this? I submit that it CANNOT!!

:o) Miss ya Kat. Hope you're donig well.

I like Peanut Butter in cooking recipes and on apples, and I like jam on biscuits but I have just never been a fan Peanut Butter and Jam sandwiches.

Ha ha Ryan...yes, PB & J all in one squeezy bottle...with croutons. Oh my word, I wouldn't even be surprised if a product like that hit the grocery shelves. We are getting lazy, I think.

Brian Regan, people...he is so funny!

Well.......

just to let u know someone long ago did in fact invent "jam and peanut butter in a jar".
The jam is a swirl in the jar, so if u scoup it right u get both, tho more peanut butter than jam.
I believe I discovered this as a young child in the '60s, buying groceries for camping with my mom. It still is made, just can't remember the brand name. I'll let you know when it comes to me.

It came to me!!

Just like crustless peanut butter and jam sandwiches, Smuckers is the creator of "peanut butter and jam in a jar".

I wonder how many preservatives are in it...it's probably carcinogenic.

Way to ruin a glorious thing, Kat. I think YOU'RE carcinogenic. :oP If they have yet to make a squeeze bottle with a PB&J inside, then my next suggestion would be to take the jar of PB&J and get some dang good bread sticks and go to town! No dishes... Just a jar and a bunch of bread sticks!

And on a completely unrelated note... good music: Over the Rhine (husband and wife jazz/folk duo - my all time favorite band, I think), Never Ending White Lights (spectacular songs! Pretty mellow though), John Lee Hooker (best blues EVER), Amos Lee, Michelle Featherstone, Joshua Radin, Sufjan Stevens, Neil Young (the Harvest album, at least), Pink Floyd (Division Bell album), Thievery Corporation, David Gray, Powderfinger, The Album Leaf, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Tracy Chapman, David Wilcox, Morcheeba. And that's about enough for now.
