If You're in Edmonton You Should...

I’m sitting in Remedy Café, waiting to meet up with Candice. If you’re ever in Edmonton and you’re looking for an amazing Chai and some fantastic Indian food, this is where you need to come. Actually, I’ve just been inspired to write a list of yummy places in Edmonton; I was talking with my mum in law this morning, trying to recommend a place for her to grab a bite to eat. Here we go:

-Remedy Café for Indian food and great hot drinks
-Highlevel Diner for wonderful Mediterranean dishes
-Packrat Louie for the most original and tasty pizzas
-Block 1812 for coffee
-Unheardof Restaurant – I’ve never actually been here, but I’ve heard tons of good things about it.
-Transcend: This is a coffee house that our friend, Andrew Legg is a big part of. Andrew knows coffee. Andrew is supremely
talented at anything he sets his feet into. If you meet him, you are a very lucky person...he is fabulous and so is his coffee
shop. The grand opening is September 15.
-David and Kathryn Graham’s house – you are always welcome here!

After writing this list, I feel like one of those snobby people on the radio who reviews eateries. This was not my intention. I just think it’s nice to enjoy new, local places where the people who run the show can use their creativity and gifts to serve others; they don’t have to follow anybody’s rules. If they love it, they can do it!

I was going to write about married life…somehow this is what came out. I will write about wifeliness next time. I shall include a photograph…or two.

I haven't even seen your wedding photos yet!!! There's something terribly wrong with this fact...
:o) Did you have a good weekend? Are you here this weekend? I can't remember...

I love you!

My favorite comment was that although you have never been to the unheardof restaurant, you have "heard good things."

That is ironical.
